Chalet Fleur de Neige, Les Gets

Located close to the centre of the village of Les Gets, the Chalet Fleur de Neige is a traditionally-styled, yet modern chalet. The chalet offers spacious and comfortable living and dining areas and pleasant bedrooms.

Custom-built for a local family, this detached property is actually two identical double storey apartments connected by a central door. This creates a delightful light and airy space. There are far-reaching views from nearly all of the rooms in the chalet.

Quick facts

  • Sleeps up to 12 people (13 with an extra bed in Room 4)
  • Double bedded rooms will both accommodate a cot each
  • 4 x twin and 2 x double bedded rooms, each with en-suite bathroom
  • A short walk, or an even quicker minibus ride, to our ski deposit and the bottom of the main Chavannes chairlift
  • Detached property with great views
  • Underground garage for those choosing to arrive by car
  • Full chalet catering (chalet staff live out)
  • Sunday arrival, with short breaks possible on request
  • Towels, hairdryers and toiletries provided
  • Group discounts on most dates of the season
  • Our chalet staff usually have Wednesday as their day off and on this day, a continental breakfast is served. Dinner can be taken in a local restaurant at your own expense on this night

Position

The chalet lies approximately 600 metres from the Les Chavannes lift, a pleasant 10 or 11 minute walk (see the walk in a video below).

This will take you to the Delavay Sports where all of your ski equipment is issued and stored overnight. From here, the bottom of the main Chavannes lift is just a few metres away.

We have a Ski 2 minibus based in Les Gets to provide local transport for our clients. The minibus will be available on-demand to our guests between 0800 and 1000 hours and again between 1600 and 2000 hours.

A quick call to our driver on a dedicated line will arrange a lift between your accommodation and the Chavannes chairlift, or a little further to other resorts in the Portes du Soleil. Evening transfers will also be available around the resort.

We aim to provide a comprehensive local service throughout the winter, but there may be a few occasions when the minibus is involved in transferring our guests a little further afield and is not immediately available.

Layout

Entry to the chalet Fleur de Neige in the winter is via the garage area at ground level, from where staircases rise to the First Floor. The chalet was designed and built by local Les Gets resident, Roger, for his two daughters who enjoy its comforts during the summer months – living in separate, but joined, identical sides of the property.

Fleur de Neige Floorplan

The layout provides two spacious and light living areas (one used as a lounge and one as a dining room) connected by a large door and two kitchen areas. One kitchen is used by the Ski 2 chalet staff in which to prepare meals. The other is used for storage and coffee (or tea) making facilities for chalet guests.

Numerous windows and patio doors give great views down and up the valley. There are also separate toilets on the first floor.

Stairs rise to the Second Floor on which there are six bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathrooms and a balcony. The bedrooms are all of a reasonable size and have good storage. Please note however that there is no access between bedrooms 1,2 and 3 and bedrooms 4, 5 and 6 on this level. To move between these sets of bedrooms, you would need to ascend to the First Floor and use the other staircase.

Bedrooms 3 and 6 have fixed double beds and both of these rooms have a ‘French bathroom’ – an en-suite bathroom separated from the bedroom by a half height partition and a full height curtain.

Rooms 2 and 5 have their own private balcony, whilst the rooms on either end of the chalet share a balcony with the room next to them.

It is possible to accommodate an extra, temporary bed in twin bedded room, Room 4.

Bedroom 1 – twin bedded room

Bedroom 2 – twin bedded room

Bedroom 3 – double bedded room (with French bathroom)

Bedroom 4 – twin bedded room (with a possibility of an extra bed)

Bedroom 5 – twin bedded room

Bedroom 6 – double bedded room (with French bathroom)

Really lovely chalet and fantastic service from John, Sophie, Charlotte and Rachael. The food was really good and plenty of it and Rachael even drove us to the ski hire shop to show us the way and stayed with us while we got sorted. Leaving boots and skis in the hire shop meant the walk from the Chavannes lift to the chalet was no problem at all.

The chalet is lovely and modern yet traditional. Our room was really nice with views up to the mountains and ski runs. The staff were very friendly and helpfully and made our stay very enjoyable. You can leave your skis near the lift so the walk isn’t a problem. We were very well looked after and would definitely recommend Ski2. The little extra touches like the €2 for the trolly and the welcome hamper really did make a difference.

This was our first ski trip with Ski 2 and it was so good we’re already planning our return to Les Gets. There were many touches that enhanced our trip from the 2 Euros for your luggage trolley to the friendly transfer driver and the surprise bottle of very nice fizz and crisps when we got in the car! The Chalet is lovely and there was a very warm welcome from Sophie and Rachel who both went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The rooms have a lovely view and very comfy with gorgeous bathrooms. We’ll certainly be going back. Getting help with sorting ski’s and lift pass was also very helpful and the food cooked by the team was great! The walk is less than 10 mins to the ski lifts and you don’t have to carry any ski’s. We loved it and can’t wait to return!

Very comfortable chalet in a quiet location. Staff were very helpful and food was good. Lovely rooms. Some are open plan so make sure you ask for one with a separate bathroom if that bothers you. Guest kitchen organisation could be improved as difficulty in finding tea/coffee/crockery/cutlery when the girls were away. Its a short (15 mins) walk to the town centre or ski lift. Being able to store skis and boots at Delavay sports right next to the lift is great, no walking in ski boots.

Recently had a 4 night break with a group of friends and we had a great few days, the chalet is superbly laid out and in a great location only a few minutes from the lifts. Charlotte and Sophie were excellent hosts and done everything they could to make our trip one to remember and generally the service from Ski 2 was excellent with nothing being to much trouble.
Will certainly look to come back again next year.

Perfect location and very smooth travel arrangements. Sophie very helpful and went extra mile to try and ensure stay was great which it was. However slightly disappointed with the quality of evening meals especially as on booking via phone the food was rated extremely highly so expectations were raised. Also kettle didn’t pour well spilling everytime anyone used it. Only one cafetière for a chalet of 12 which made Sophie’s job difficult. And lastly lounge area could do with some more cosy touches such as a lamp pictures on wall – which was commented by all guests who were great chalet companions. We did have a lovely stay but these things would make it better.

Gorgeous, clean and warm chalet with beautiful views of the surrounding moutains. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage and modern bathrooms. The food was great, plentiful and catered for all tastes.
Sophie, Charlotte and Tom really couldn’t have done any more to make our trip so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and the little touches such as snacks on the transfers and collecting tired children really made our holiday. Thank you, can’t wait to return.

Really comfortable chalet in a good location, easily walkable to the centre of town. The chalet is light and modern and spotlessly clean.

The food was good with a choice of red or white wine with dinner. Sophie and Charlotte worked well as a team to look after us, Tom was very patient driving us to the lifts every morning and collecting us every afternoon.

Love the flexibility Ski2 offer in terms of no set changeover days or duration of stay. Thank You.

This was our fifth stay at the Fleur de Neige and won’t be our last as we’ve booked again for next month. The Chalet is fabulous and the facilities have been improved upon since 2017. The only thing that we think would be a really fantastic addition would be a hot tub! ….we live in hope! Sophie fed us lovely meals (her scrambled eggs and amazing and her lemon drizzle cake defies description!) and Charlotte ensured that our glasses were kept topped up and kept the Chalet clean and tidy…….thanks also to Tom for driving us to Avoriaz, having the use of a minibus is really useful and means that you can get a full days skiing there without worrying about skiing back or missing the lifts! Thanks as always to Rachelle for ensuring that we had skis and passes sorted and to the Delavay sports shop staff for their knowledge and help.

A lovely week in the chalet. Sophie, Charlotte, Tom and Rachel go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Chalet spotlessly clean. Great food. Lots of thoughtful extras such as welcome bag, introduction to ski instructor, advice about where to eat, etc. Recommend to individuals, couples and families.

Attractive modern chalet, built as two three bedroom semi’s combined on the ground floor and via the basement garage. Plenty of hot water for showers, sunny location and, for us at least, quiet at night. Beds comfortable and good quality bedding and towels. Room heating control system is poor, it took us 3 days to get the room up to decent temperature yet the bathroom overheats.
Two TV’s in separated areas downstairs allow the up to 12 guests to pick and choose if they have TV or not and what they watch, but the social seating area isn’t big enough to accommodate all 12 guests to is not conducive to whole chalet socialising.
The wifi is poor, almost non existent for rooms 1-3 and totally non existent for rooms 4-6. Even downstairs close to the router it is slow.
Mini bus transfers with Tom worked very well and meant we only walked the 8-10 minute walk 5-6 times in the whole week. All the chalet staff were very cheerful, friendly and tried their best to give us a good holiday and meet our particular requests.
Chalet Fluer de Niege is infinitely better than Chalet Delavay, even allowing for the location a little further out i would not hesitate to opt for Fluer de Niege over Delavay, the quality of the building is so much better.

I have just returned from a weekend away at Fleur de Niege. It was fantastic. I arrived late at night and the transfer was seamless. We had two full days of skiing. I was a complete beginner and Ski 2 organised everything, from ski, helmet and boot hire to private lessons. By the end of the weekend, I was skiing blue runs. The staff at the chalet were incredibly helpful and friendly. I cannot fault the weekend away. I only wish I had had more time there.

We stayed at Chalet Fleure de Neige for 4 nights 7-11th March 2018 – we can’t recommend it more highly. Our transfers to & from the airport were seamless with drinks & snacks provided. The chalet is modern, bright & immaculate. If you don’t want to walk to and fro to town (only 5 minutes) Tom is available at set times am & pm (including between 4-10 pm) to drop you off & collect. Ski hire etc is brilliantly organised with storage each day for boots & skis in town just by main ski lift. Drying of wet gear each evening at chalet is all organised too! Canapés & drinks at 7.30pm followed by a 3 course meal with decent wine at 8pm (& that’s all after tea & cakes on return from the slopes) were all truly superb. Thank you very much indeed Sophie, Harriet, Tom, Rachel & great fellow guests for a wonderful and fun time. We will be back!

It was the first time away just me and my son
I have to say it was effortless. The chalet is high spec decor, clean and warm
Everything was arranged for us, even the ski hire was seamless. Rachelle made sure of that
Both Tom and Sophie were helpful and made you feel relaxed
Tom would pick you up after a days skiing and spent time with my 10 yr old son
The ski area was fun, vast and friendly
We had booked a short break but both wished we could have stayed longer
Definitely will return next season ❄️⛷⛷❄️

We had room 3 at the chalet which was small but adequate- a bedside table or chest of drawers would be a welcome addition. Comfortable bed and good shower!
Staff were great, meals acceptable, canapés & free flowing wine during and after dinner were a special touch, as were the driving services of Tom as and when we needed them.
Would consider returning, especially if a hot tub was added!

Thank you for a fantastic ski holiday with my children. Everything was organised perfectly from the airport transfer, Rachel greeting us and helping sort skis, boots and lift passes, the chalet staff for looking after us and of course for providing enough snow for 5 days skiing!! We had twin rooms 5 and 6 which were perfect, may be the twin beds would be too close for comfort for some but were fine for sharing with family.
We were lucky to have a few days of sun and a couple of sunny days too. Sophie was a great cook and provided some delicious cakes which the boys and I thoroughly appreciated after a good days skiing and a treat of a cooked breakfast and super 3 course dinner every day. Nothing was too much trouble for Tom; he even asked my eldest to join him for a beer at the Bear one night.
I would definitely book a short break again and would hope to be lucky enough to return next year. Maybe you should consider a chalet in Champoluc or elsewhere, Ski2 seem to have found the right formula. Well done for employing perfect staff.
Best wishes and thank you again for a wonderful ski break.

This was our first stay at Fleur de Neige but definitely not the last.
We had room 5 and 6 which were perfect although maybe the twin beds would be a little cosy if you weren’t sharing with family. The chalet was very well equipped and it was handy to have the use of a fridge.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, Sophie, Tom and Rachelle .
Daily cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and prosecco before a 3 course meal with wine exceeded my expectations.
Deleway sport was well located,; the helpful staff enabled the 4 of us to be in and out of the shop onto the slopes in about 20 minutes. Les Gets is an attractive resort; although low we were lucky to benefit from even more snow and sun during our stay.
A relaxing and enjoyable holiday for us all.

We stayed in Chalet for 4 days in January and had a great time, the Chalet is spacious and very comfortable, the rooms are large with lovely bathrooms. The short walk to the main lifts in the morning is easy and skis are kept at the Delavy ski shop right next to the lifts so all very convenient.
The staff at the Chalet and Rachel the resort manager all looked after us very well.
The deal we were on was incredible value for money and the customer service when booking from the UK office was exceptional. Great touches the Prosecco in the transfer bus and the 2 euro coin for the trolley were great.
we will certainly return and use this company again.

Fantastic week with Sophie and Tom. Nothing was any trouble and the service was exceptional.
The chalet was lovely and the use of a separate kitchen was a bonus for us with children.
Lovely bedrooms, plenty of space and we got used to half height bathroom walls!
A hot tub would a huge bonus but we would definitely return in the warmer months without one! As we came late in the season the balcony was a great addition, with no snow on it, however this did amount to a lot of splinters which meant we had to keep the children off it. A shame but plenty of other space to run around.
A great week, plenty of snow and sun. Thank you all.

We were really well looked after by Rachael, Lucy and Sophie. Nothing was too much trouble- even driving us to the ski shop to pick up our boots and skis in the morning and drop us back to the chalet in the evening Loved the village of Les Get, a very pretty, traditional, alpine resort.

The 6 of us had an amazing week at Fleur de Neige and we will definitely be back at some point! Chalet is beautiful ( modern but still very traditional) and the perfect 10 min walk to the Chevannes lift and a great start and end to the day to warm up and stretch then relax the muscles! A 3 or 4 day break as an extra trip would be perfect because of the location.

Sophie and Lucy were very attentive and were the perfect host and chef – the food was excellent and presented beautifully – thank you! They both worked so hard and went the extra mile all the time to give us information about the area and places to visit etc – nothing was ever too much trouble at all!

My partner and I stayed at the Fleur de Neige just after New Years 2019 and really enjoyed our short break in Les Gets.

The Ski 2 team made us feel welcome and did everything they could (including carrying our heavy suitcase) to make sure we felt comfortable. A special thank you to Sophie (cook) and Lucy (host) who were attentive and professional in their running of the chalet.

Sophie’s food was delicious and we looked forward to our evening meals which included delicate canapes and yummy desserts. For lunch we tended to grab something from the Carrefour or try one of the many restaurants on the piste. A particular favourite for us was the Le Grand Cry. Try the calzone which had a thin crust with tasty ingredients, perfect for recharging after the morning skiing.

On the subject of skiing. Being adult beginners one of the big draws for us to Les Gets were the green and blue runs available. We loved the variety of tree lined runs and found it a perfect playground to improve our skiing.

We can’t wait to go back.

Our first stay in Chalet Fleur de Neige and it did not disappoint. It was neat, clean, tidy and in a good location, a short walk or drive to the lifts. Rachelle, Sophie and Lucy looked after us brilliantly, great food and plenty of it.
Special mention to Josh our transfer driver who went out of his way to help with organising a wheelchair at the airport (unfortunate skiing injury!)

Chalet Fleurs de Neige is a beautiful chalet, bursting with Alpine charm, just as in the pictures. I thought we had got the best room by far, but having had peep into the others – they were all just as lovely. This was our first trip with Ski2 and what struck me was that they had thought of every single thing possible to make our holiday smooth, easy and comfortable. The easy pick up from Geneva on a day and time of our closing, the lovely welcome snack in the minibus, the warm (late) welcome at the chalet with more snacks and wine waiting for us, the pre-organised ski hire from just next to the main lift, the options of walking or ringing for the minibus at the start and end of each day (we loved the 10 mins walk to ease out our legs), the toasty bedroom, the light filled dining/ sitting room, the fact that the staff were always to hand if you needed to ask anything, and the big fat ham baguettes for breakfast on our last day early start. We gobbled them up once we got to Geneva! I was so impressed. We will definitely be coming again, either to Les Gets or your Italian base in Champoluc. Thank you Lucy and Sophie for looking after us (and for our fabulous singalong and candle lit dinners!) and to Rachelle, Josh and Dougie for your skilled and careful snow driving en route to the airport. Thank you. What a team!

Lovely chalet in a great location, giving the option of a nice walk to warm up/down for skiing. My comments are really just to echo those said by others that Ski2 did a great job of running a smooth operation to make the trip as enjoyable and time-efficient as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for the resort staff and was made to feel very welcome.
The private airport transfer based around the flight times was a real touch of class and made the whole trip flow so well. I took off from UK at 9am, and was on the slopes within 4 hours.
The chalet looks and feels very new. The bedroom was warm and light and perfect size. Same for downstairs, and the fact the guests get their a separate kitchen for our own use is a great feature.
The food on offer was delicious, Sophie and Lucy did a great job of looking after the guests.
Am definitely considering a return trip at some point.

Just returned from a 3 night family short break at Chalet Fleur de Neige. We were on holiday with our teenage daughters and had a fabulous time. Every detail was thought of to make the stay special including a 2 euro coin for the airport trolley to a bottle of Prosecco and snacks on the airport transfer minibus. All credit to the staff who make sure your stay works like clockwork. Big thanks to Sophie for the fabulous food ( and catering for a picky teenager!), to Lucy for being a great chalet host, always smiling and having our rooms ready for us even when we arrived so early on the first day, to Rachel for making our ski hire visit to the shop incredibly painless and to Dougie for all the lifts back and forth – much appreciated after a day on the slopes. The chalet itself was wonderful. Lovely spacious rooms with super comfy beds and lots of storage. All meals were super and pre dinner drinks and nibbles a lovely touch. Also huge thanks to Roger for actually renting out your lovely chalet and for sorting out our booking so efficiently. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish and to cap it all we had the most glorious snow and sunshine allowing us to ski two full days and two half days which was more than we had hoped for. We would highly recommend you and cannot wait to come back again!!!!!!!

    Awesome Stay!

Our group of 12 have just arrived back from an amazing week at Fleur de Niege, and we absolutely loved it! We have not used Ski2 before but had been to Les Gets so we thought we knew what to expect, however our stay surpassed our expectations.

Firstly the Chalet is lovely, it’s spacious enough not to be tripping over one another but also has a cosy feel, with plenty of hot water for all 12 of us to freshen up every evening before dinner. The underfloor heating is great to come down to in the morning and the view up to Les Perrieres lift gives you a good perspective as you eat breakfast.

The team are also amazing. We loved having Sophie and Lucy as our hosts. They joined in with our music request nights and just had a natural and welcoming style which was greatly appreciated. The food was really first class and Sophie adapted and changed for the more difficult tastes of some of us! They were happy to be flexible arranging dinner around the Rugby viewing and providing some sandwiches for our early flight out of Geneva! The canapes and snacks throughout the week were excellent- these girls deserve plenty of praise! Dougie and Sergio were also fab in running us around and mucking in – thanks Guys!
Overall our experience of Ski2 was one of the best- neat little touches like drinks & snacks on the transfer set them apart from other companies- long may it continue!

We returned to this Chalet for a short break for the second year in a row. The airport transfers, ski hire and lift pass were all arranged seamlessly and the chalet is probably one of the best I’ve stayed in – they food is excellent and the staff are so helpful. The lift to the slopes every morning was brilliant – Sergio was waiting for us to finish breakfast so we could head out straight away.

Ski2 transfers are also really efficient – we booked a flight that landed at 9am and we were skiing within 2 and a half hours. It meant we were really able to use our first day as a full day of skiing and maximised a 3 day trip.

Having stayed at Chalet Fleur de Neige last year, and loved every minute, I was very excited to bring seven friends with me this year. The review I gave last year still stands. This time I was in charge of the “holiday admin”. Despite being totally unorganised generally, Sarah was on my case to make sure everything had been done in advance of travelling. My friends loved the holiday so much we are in the process of booking to come back out in 2020.

The chalet is modern and clean with excellent hosting by Sophie and Lucy…..even helping out with some lost property at the end of our stay.
A hot tub on the terrace would be a welcome addition to the property.
